Mr. Robert Pockar, President and CEO of Matrix Solutions Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Tod Collard, Sheila Luther, Scott Purves, and Stacey Wiens as Principals.
Tod Collard, P.Biol.
Tod is a Professional Biologist specializing in environmental strategic direction for upstream oil and gas and pipeline applications, operations and reclamation. He joined the Matrix team in 2011 after a long career in Calgary. With more than 25 years of experience as a proponent, regulator and consultant, he brings a unique perspective to oilsands mining and in-situ projects, pipelines and conventional oil and gas facilities. He has been involved in environmental consulting work throughout much of Canada and internationally.
Sheila Luther, M.Sc. P.Ag.
Sheila Luther is a Professional Agrologist with over 20 years of experience in reclamation, contaminant assessment and remediation. Sheila has technically advised on many upstream oil and gas assessment projects and has managed an interprovincial pipeline environmental and socio-economic assessment. She specializes in regulatory soil monitoring and decommissioning programs at industry facilities. Sheila provides leadership for both clients and staff from the Edmonton office and serves as client accountable for oil and gas and other industry clients.
Scott Purves, EP, P.Ag.
Scott Purves is an Environmental Professional and Professional Agrologist with over 14 years of experience in the environmental industry. His project experience has focused on site assessment, spill response, liability and risk assessment, soil and groundwater monitoring programs, in-situ and ex-situ remediation techniques, reclamation and regulatory closure of contaminated sites. Scott provides leadership and technical support to teams in Lloydminster and Cold Lake as well as mentorship and technical support to his peers and clients across client portfolios in Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C.
Stacey Wiens, P.Ag.
Stacey Wiens is a Professional Agrologist with over 19 years of experience, 11 years of which have been in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has managed multi-disciplinary projects involving abandoned well site reclamation and remediation as well as hydrocarbon and salinity contami- nation at numerous Western Canadian upstream oil and gas facilities. A senior mentor to Matrix staff and client accountable for several oil and gas corporations, Stacey provides leadership to clients and staff in Saskatchewan and Alberta.
