Matrix Solutions published its inaugural ESG Strategy: A Growing Matrix in a Sustainable World at the start of 2023, outlining the Environmental, Social, and Governance areas that are most material to the business and Matrix’s sustainability aspirations. Those focus areas are:
- Health and Safety,
- Greenhouse Gas Emissions,
- Community Relations and Local Investment, and
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Following year-one of the strategy, Matrix has published its 2023 Sustainability Report – outlining progress in each of the focus areas.

In June of 2023, Matrix finalized a transaction to become part of the Montrose Environmental Group (NYSE: MEG), a leading environmental solutions company focused on supporting commercial and government organizations as they deal with the challenges of today, and prepare for what’s coming tomorrow.
