Water Resources Leadership Changes

August 1, 2017

Calgary, Alberta – Matrix Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Dyck to the roles of senior vice president, Western Water Resources and VP, Operations, Western Hydrogeology.  This move follows Martin (Marty) Bobyn’s decision to step down from his position as VP to focus on his role as Principal Hydrogeologist. Marty has been with Matrix since 2006, serving as a VP for the past seven.

Ian brings a wealth of experience leading teams of engineers and scientists on complex projects across North America, as well as developing growth strategies in both the environmental and municipal markets.

Dave Van Vliet continues in his role as SVP, focusing on Eastern Water Resources. Together, Dave and Ian will share overall leadership and strategic direction for the Water Resources team. Mike Bender will continue on in his role as VP Operations, Western Surface Water, reporting to Ian Dyck.

These leadership changes are designed to enhance our current strategy and mark the natural next step in the evolution of our Water Resources Team.
