Robert M. Pockar appointed President and CEO of Matrix Solutions Inc.

John Feick, Chairman of Matrix Solutions Inc. (Matrix), is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert M. Pockar as President and CEO.  Robert will be succeeding Phillip M. Ullman who served as President for the past 5 years.

Robert initially joined Matrix Solutions while completing his Engineering degree at the University of Alberta in 1993. Robert subsequently completed a Masters degree, majoring in Earth Science, from the University of Waterloo.  He has successfully managed hundreds of projects for the upstream oil and gas industry including environmental liability assessments, soil and groundwater remediation projects, and groundwater supply feasibility and impact assessments.  Robert was promoted to Principal Engineer in 2006 and during the last year served as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.
